Reaction to the Caribbean Cup

In reaction to the Caribbean Cup that took place in Jamaica, It has been a great honor for us to answer the call and a part of the success of the Haitian Men National Soccer Team. As young Haitians who grew up in Haiti, it is a great way to give back to the country we love. Last summer, we were invited to be part of the Haitian Men National Soccer Team’s medical staff for the Gold Cup 2013. Not only was it a great experience, the athletes were delighted with our service. Athletic training is nonexistent in Haiti. Therefore, we were very excited about this opportunity, it is our goal to improve the level care our players receive and we believe that we can make a difference. The competition in Jamaica proved to be a great experience in terms of showcasing how much of a difference the proper care in terms of first response and injury treatments can make in the performance of a team. In addition, the Haitian Men National Soccer Team came third in the competition. It was a great feeling ever to walk to the stage to receive a medal with the team. We are very confident that we can continue with that same momentum for the Gold Cup in 2015. We would also like to thank the President of the Haitian soccer Federation Mr. Jean Bart and his staff for trusting us.
